About the Author Michael Bristow is a composer, music editor, music historian and church organist and acquired an interest in national anthems as a teenager at school and has since become of the world's leading experts. In 1984 Michael became co-editor of the sixth edition of NATIONAL ANTHEMS OF THE WORLD and has ensured ever since that the many changes around the world are reflected in each new edition. He is also editor of the STATE SONGS OF AMERICA and is working on two new books, STATE ANTHEMS OF MALAYSIA and PROVINCIAL SONGS OF CANADA. . Michael now lives in Norway.
