I thought that my 5 year old would like it and I wanted to convey the message about why eating veggies is good for you. I was familiar with the author as we already have "My dad is a superhero", "Luna, the night butterfly", " a firefly tale", "the little toy unicorn, "the little duck and the great big pond", and "the day lady Lost her spots" in o. gren said the level of detail on the graphics is poor and the text is often disconnected from the text.
