"Impressive fold-out view of Ancient Rome" according to Marla. My daughter's teacher had brought one to class and my daughter liked it so much she wanted one of her own. The compact book folds out four feet into three large pop up scenes of the Forum /Senate, the Coliseum /Gladiators and a Street scene. The six images are beautiful and each one has an excellent description on the back, with interesting information that my daughter had not yet come across in school or in the numerous books she has read on the subject. I would recommend this to any young fan of Ancient Rome.. Rome: A Fold-Out History of the Ancient Civilization The popout illos are wonderful. This is a great tool for teaching. A good way to get young people interested in ancient lifeways and culture.. Teaching aid Brian H. Peterson A great book to help teach the basics of Rome to kids by helping to visualize what Rome looks like
