Five Stars Amazon Customer Used this with my little girl for Chinese New Year celebration. She loves it.. Good story, visually overwhelming I have purchased three of these books in this series. I liked this story and my son enjoyed it as well. The thing is that this version has Chinese characters as well as English in it. It seems like a neat idea but it comes off as too busy on the page.. Snow Lover said 4 year old enjoys them. Snow Lover Cute stories. We have the year of the dragon, horse, sheep, and now Monkey. I liked the illustrations of the previous years. They were cuter, and this one is trying to be more realistic. But the story is fun if not a bit repetitive. Every animal has a challenge they must overcome, and of course they do.. year old enjoys them.. Cute stories. We have the year of the dragon, horse, sheep, and now Monkey.
