Terrible book I took an electronics course as an undergrad and the book provides with very little insight on circuits. Fortunately my professor was amazing at teaching, so his lectures were better than the book (when it is the opposite that happens to most students). He mostly used for homeworks only.Looking in retrospective, I personally would go for Razavi's Intro to Microelectronics and Sergio Franco's Design with Operational Amplifiers and Analog Integrated Circuits. Unless your elect. Still reading it but I like it Korrigan I'm not sure why this book has received such poor reviews. I've read about half of it and like it. As a long time working engineer without a degree in engineering this book is a perfect way to catch up on all that stuff I didn't learn in school. It has just enough equations to explain the concepts, plenty of diagrams, good verbal explanations. What's not to like? There have been a few explanations I didn't fully understand but hey any of you naysayers ever tried reading a Qua. BigCat said A VERY GOOD TEXT FOR ANALOG IC DESIGN!. This text covers analog IC design topics such as operational amplifiers, current mirrors, differential pairs, stability, gain-bandwidth product, feedback, frequency response, pn junctions, diodes, MOSFET, BJT, CMOS logic gates etc. It provides a wide range of breadth as well as enough focused depth on analog IC design. It's not an introductory text for readers without any analog background and could be difficult to understand at times. However, given a little experience, it
