A great pre-trip book!! I bought this book for my ten-year-old in preparation for our trip to New York City. It is awesome, giving him enough info to really get excited, while providing me with ideas of where to go and what to see. It includes check lists for kids that are great--for example, they can check off different food items t. yah Joshua D Rowe kids love it. Worked for our 6 year old We read this with our 6 year old and he was very interested. However, it has some weird recommendations on where to go so we didn't get through all of it. Overall a good read for kids, but you should probably buy a real guidebook on what you want to see and then just read those sections in this book.
The Kid's Guide to New York City is the most comprehensive and up-to-date guide for taking kids into the City.
