Paige said Impressive For a 16-year-old. Easy, semi-interesting read.. It's okay. Considering it was written by a 16 year old dropout, I'm blown away. It's better than 90% of what MFA students write, trust me. It's an easy read, there's really not much meandering, considering how realistic it makes everything, how each detail shapes the main character. Yes, the MC is a little dumb (mostly just unfeeling and submissive) but I wouldn't say it's unbearable because, unlike most protagonists, she's not the pity-me type. She reminds me a bit of myself and other girls from school. People say how unrealistic the sexuality is in this book, but really think back. There was at least one . "A little too depressing" according to A Customer. I was rather surprised by this book; it wasn't anything like I'd expected. I hadn't thought it would be so sad or disturbing. The climax and conclusion feel as if the author stopped writing a few pages too soon. It was missing a resolution that it desperately needed.
