The authenticity and research done into the cultures and persons of the time period really add to the story being told. It gives a whole new dimension, like having commentary or a concordance, but better because it is visual! I found myself drawn into the story in a whole new way. I love the Book of Ruth, and by showcasing it within its historical context, brought out the glory of God's grace within the lives of these ordinary people, their suffering
