L. Smith said Lives up to the title!. This is a fantastic book to help people understand the terribly complex subject of chronic pain. I hate that the Kindle version prompted such poor ratings, because the actual content of the book is excellent. I have the print version. Refer to reviews of the original version, most of which are 5-star ratings. As a psychologist treating chronic pain, and training soon-to-be psychologists, I'm always l. mmmmmmm said Well, it explains pain. I'm conflicted about this book. I have chronic pain, this book did not tell me anything that will change that. If I hadn't already taken physiology in college nor didn't already read every medical article I could about my and related problems maybe this work would be more informative in explaining pain. For me it was a nice dumbing down of the physiological process of pain But I don't feel it helped . "Not about the content, just the kindle version" according to Amazon Customer. You guys need to stop selling this Kindle version--it is unreadable--I look forward to demanding a refund from Amazon
