A great title for Advent people. Sheila Vieira I think the title grabs every Advent person and is itself subject to prayer and meditation. I bought it because of the title and to preview for a church book group. I like it very much and plan to suggest it to our group for Advent this year. If selected, you can expect a review from the group.. but the plus was the different levels of questions so that people new to Christianity and those with many Bible studies under th I used this study guide for and adult Bible study during advent, It was very popular with the group, but we were unfamiliar with the author. His emphasis on why each author chose to approach the beginning of Jesus differently was interesting, but the plus was the different levels of questions so that people new to Christianity and those with many Bible studies under the belt felt like they could find value in this study guide.. Great Explanation of the Meaning of Advent This book is a good choice for Advent, as we expectantly await Jesus' return. It explains the sending of the Holy Spirit after the ascension. It is simply saying that although God is here among us, we anxiously await His return.
