Carlton This book is a good choice to begin to learn about the amazing history of the Christian Church.Especially Gnosticism and the early Christian Church, and especially the creation of the New Testament Bible. For a different review.here is my review of books that build on these interests, especially the "lost" books of the New Testament Bible and the concepts of Gnosticism.Nearly all knowledgeable Biblical scholars realize there have been a wide range of writings a. Good pam I was happy with the item, but I'm not sure about the publishing company. Never heard of this publisher before and there is no historical data in the book- only the stories. If I had it to do over again, I would buy a version of the lost books from a more well known publishing company and one that included some commentary and historical data on the texts.. A lot of stories. It is a good thing these books were left out of the bible.The bible if full of stuff and if you add this stuff the worldwould be in a terrible state. It is worth reading and or studying.
