"Great for Scientific Thinking!" according to J. Kimball. I have used this book for the past two years to begin my science instruction for the school year. I teach first grade, and although the book is written for preschool-age children, it is very easily adapted for older students. The lessons are organized into developmentally appropriate concepts for young children: exploration, inquiry, guided inquiry, application, cross-curricular ac. teachermama said Excellent Early Childhood Resource. There aren't enough quality science resources out there for early childhood educators. This book does an excellent job of teaching preschoolers about science in a fun, engaging way! Definitely recommend this book!. "Wonderful resource and planning tool." according to iMom. Really nice guide for lessons on Sponges. Interesting activity ideas and useful notes of sidebar info. I am excited to implement in classroom.
