I'm glad I have this book to help me. VERY Rudimentary Gretchen in the MItten This book is NOT what I was expecting. At all. It would be an excellent gift for a girl moving into Young Women, but definitely not for a grown woman keeping house. The information is almost insultingly rudimentary, teaching the BARE BASICS of home care, cooking, etc. I bought this thinking that there would be a ton of great information about frugal living, raising a family, and most especially food storage tips.
