I really enjoyed the first-hand accounts from the authors own experiences. They're sweet, funny, touching, and sometimes even a little sad, but always interesting. The observations the author makes, while not scientific, are astute and humorous. Sentimental? Yes. Over the top or too sweet? No. It's a tribute to the richness that kitty-cats can add to their humans lives. Cats rule!:)
