For the most part in this story, humans behave in a beastly way, while the Beast races live a more peaceful life, until their forest is invaded by the Achaeans, warlike humans looking to take back two half-beast youths hiding there. Though feared . Mythic, fast-paced beautiful read Loved this myth-inspired fast-paced beautiful read. Certain parts of the prose were entirely stunning and as lyrical as poetry. The book would make a terrific action movie with a satisfying romantic sub-plot.
